PENGARUH PENGGUNAAN PASIR PANTAI AIR TAWAR BARAT, KOTA PADANG TERHADAP NILAI VOID IN MIX, VOID IN MINERAL AGGREGAT, DAN VOID FILLED WITH BITUMEN

Belum adanya penggunaan Pasir Pantai Air Tawar Barat, Kota Padang sebagai filler dalam campuran aspal AC – WC dan sebagai alternatif material pengganti filler. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh dari penggunaan pasir Pantai Air Tawar Barat, Kota Padang sebagai filler dalam campuran AC – WC terhadap nilai Void in Mix (VIM), Void in Mineral Aggregate (VMA), dan Void Filled with Bitumen(VFB) sesuai persyaratan PUPR 2018 tentang Konstruksi Jalan dan Jembatan. Studi eksperimental dilakukan dengan membuat benda uji menggunakan filler pasir pantai Air Tawar Barat, Kota Padang sebagai campuran AC -WC. Berdasarkan penelitian, diperoleh hasil nilai VIM dan VMA menurun (filler 1% – 2,5%), nilai VFB meningkat (filler 1% – 2,5%). Sejalan dengan penambahan filler Pasir Pantai Air Tawar Barat, Kota Padang pada persentase 3% nilai VMA dan VIM meningkat dan nilai VFB menurun. Nilai VIM dan VFB tidak memenuhi spesifikasi PUPR 2018, namun nilai VMA memenuhi spesifikasi PUPR 2018.
