ANALISIS KESESUAIAN RUANG DAN PERALATAN BENGKEL KAYU JURUSAN BANGUNAN DI SMK NEGERI 2 PAYAKUMBUH

Abstract
Sarana dan prasarana pendidikan adalah salah satu elemen penting guna meningkatkan kompetensi siswa dalam melakukan proses belajar. Bengkel Kayu Jurusan Bangunan mempunyai luas yang lumayan besar, namun terlihat sempit karena hasil praktik seperti meja dan kursi hanya ditumpuk dalam ruangan bengkel kerja. Selama praktik kerja kayu banyak dari siswa yang tidak memanfaatkan waktu dengan baik. Hal itu dikarenakan beberapa peralatan yang belum mencukupi jumlah siswa sehingga siswa harus melakukan praktik secara bergantian dalam penggunaan alat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkapkan kesesuaian ukuran luas ruang Bengkel Kayu dan peralatan di ruang bengkel kayu Jurusan Bangunan SMK Negeri 2 Payakumbuh ditinjau berdasarkan standar Permendikbud nomor 34 tahun 2018. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMK Negeri 2 Payakumbuh. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif secara evaluatif. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan pembahasan yang telah dilakukan, persentase ketercapaian luas total ruang bengkel kayu adalah sebesar 215,3% yang artinya sudah sangat memenuhi standar dan persentase ketercapaian peralatan pada bengkel kayu Jurusan Bangunan adalah sebesar 75% yang artinya kurang memenuhi standar.
Educational facilities and infrastructure are one of the important elements for increasing student competence in the learning process. The Building Department's Wood Workshop has a fairly large area, but it looks cramped because practical products such as tables and chairs are only stacked in the workshop room. During woodworking practice, many students do not utilize their time well. This is because some of the equipment is not sufficient for the number of students so students have to practice taking turns in using the equipment. This research aims to reveal the suitability of the size of the Wood Workshop room and equipment in the wood workshop room of the Building Department of SMK Negeri 2 Payakumbuh based on the standards of Minister of Education and Culture number 34 of 2018. This research was conducted at SMK Negeri 2 Payakumbuh. The research method used in this research is an evaluative descriptive method. Based on the results of the research and discussions that have been carried out, the percentage of achievement of the total area of the wood workshop space is 215.3%, which means that it meets the standards and the percentage of equipment achieved in the Building Department's wood workshop is 75%, which means it does not meet the standards.
